Are Implants “Sold”?

Certainly, no implant doctor wants to be perceived as a salesperson. However, to imagine that you are not selling implants to your patients is deceptive, if you think about it. Have you built an attractive office? That’s part of selling your practice to patients. Do you have a dress code for your team? That’s selling an image of your practice. Are you concerned about good customer service? Once again—this is selling.

See what I mean? You are doing a great deal of selling already and you didn’t even realize it!

In fact, every implant treatment is “sold” to patients. By the sheer act of presenting a treatment plan, you are, in effect, promoting implants. So, relax and don’t beat yourself up over this. Look at it this way—you are advocating treatment that you know will improve patients’ oral health and help them achieve a better and brighter smile.

This kind of selling is a very good thing!
